Shaylee HEAD Vet nurse Shaylee is the head vet nurse here at Ringwood East Vetcare and has completed her qualification for Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing. She joined our team in October 2019 after working a few years in emergency and general practice at James Cook University vet hospital in far north Queensland. Moving to Melbourne has been a big change especially with adjusting to the cold weather and getting used to city life. Growing up on acreage with cattle, pigs and dogs has given Shaylee a passion and love for all animals. Dogs are her main interest however since moving here Shaylee gets particularly excited when we have rabbits come into the clinic as being from Queensland she never got to work with them. Her bright personality and welcoming smile are a great asset to the team. Natasha Vet Nurse Natasha joined the Ringwood East Vetcare team in January 2020 after previously working in Emergency and General practice for over a year. While working with us, Natasha was studying her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing which she completed in December 2020. Natasha's lover for animals began at the age of 5 when she got her first pet kitten, Maggie. Her passion for animal welfare quickly developed when taking Maggie to the vet for her annual check ups and once she began watching Veterinary shows such as Harry's Practice and Bondi Vet. Natasha has a very bright and happy personality, and always looks forward to getting to know new clients and their furry friends. |
Charmaine vet nurse Charmaine joined our team in July 2019 as a veterinary nurse. She has completed her Cert II animal studies and Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing. From a young age Charmaine developed a strong love for animals and their welfare, growing up with cats, dogs, birds and rabbits. She has many childhood memories of finding injured wildlife and taking them to the vet, which sparked here interest in the profession. While she has a lover for all animals, her main interest is in cats and making sure their vet experience is as pleasant as possible. Charmaine works part time looking after your animals and the rest of her time is spent with her young little family, her fiance, toddler and cat, Bear. Philipa Vet NURSE Philipa is our friendly and bubbly vet nurse who joined our team in May 2020. She has a passion for reptiles and was head reptile keeper at Lillydale High School.
